Hi all,

since the Edge Brwoser has now Chromium engine.

Is the Edge Chromium Brwoser know fully supported by vMix Call?

I'd like a definitive on this as well!

Sad to see no response on this.

A number of corporate IT plonkers have decided to restrict many company PC's to only having access to edge browsers so this may be quite a relevant question.

I'm sure its not going to be a simple answer...

Martin said the new Edge Chromimium will work just fine on a recent vMix Funtime Live show. He said it was not "officially" supported because there may be confusion with some end users will still have the old "e" version installed.

Not an official answer, but I've used it with a few folks that have had otherwise locked-down systems (i.e. cannot install Chrome or Firefox) and it is functional. While not a scientific comparison, it doesn't seem to adapt resolutions as quickly as Chrome or Firefox, and the noise suppression/echo cancellation was also not nearly as good/clean. But it worked, and once we get people using headphones rather than laptop speakers, the audio situation improved.
