We are making news program and have been using vmixcall since a year. we have guests from different countries. We were happy with vmixcall until we started having problems with iphone 11 (+pro). when the guest connects to vmixcall with iphone 11, fr image1.png (1,945kb) downloaded 0 time(s). image3 (2).png (1,705kb) downloaded 0 time(s). Image2 (2).png (1,880kb) downloaded 0 time(s). frame rate is going down. connection speed changes from 1.3 to 1.8 it is ok for us but frame rates is unbelievable. 1 fps max 6 fps. (look image1 and image2). 15 min after connection to vmixcall frame rate go up but the image quality does not change (image3)

I didn't care when it first happened. I though that it was a connection problem. But second and third time, different locations, Washignton DC/USA, Franfurt/Germany, Kopenhag/Denmark and yesterday Stockholm/Sweden. When i saw low fps on vmixcall, i ask the guest what you are using for connection. The answer is same iphone 11. I made a lot of test with iphone 11. I used different browser. Safari, chrome and mozilla on iphone 11 but result didn't change. 4G(LTE) or wifi same problem.

There is no problem when the guest connects with the computer over the same wifi.

where am i doing wrong or what am i missing.

is there anyone who can help me?

Maybe an issue with a variable frame rate?

Have you tried beta.vmixcall.com?

We've had issues with iPhone 11's as well but the above solution did not help at all. What did make a huge difference was changing the guest bandwidth from auto to force a higher setting in Advanced Settings / Remote Guest Video Bandwidth menu. In fact, it cleared the image up perfectly.
