I am setting up a streaming system, and am hoping to use vmix. I have been using the trial version. The only thing I havent been able to figure out is how to do two scaled images for showing the camera and the powerpoint that the presenter is showing. Example: http://www.jiscdigitalme...gvav03-presentation.jpg. I know how to scale and position the camera and screen capture, but I would like to scale and reposition a duplicate, so that I can have a full screen display of the presenter, a full screen display of the powerpoint, and then the additional option of the PiP showing them both. I tried adding a second capture input from the same camera, but was unable to make that work. Is it possible to duplicate a camera or screen capture input somehow?

You have to create a Virtual Input: click the gear icon of your camera input and click "Create Virtual Input". The camera input will be duplicated and there you can set up a Multiview/PIP.

you can add an input, eg a color or an image giving you some backgound and use the overlay settings in its settings pannel to add several inputs to it, and the position tab to scale the overlays to the required size
