Do we know anything : H.265 (High Efficiency Video Coding) format ?? when??

The H.265/HEVC codec is still very new and has not be extensively tested or developed. There are a handful of companies that are doing work with the codec but it is still in its infancy in my opinion. Adobe Flash player does not support using that codec as of yet. The CPU usage for the codec is also very intensive in the current versions of the encoders.
I am hoping that large advancements will be made quickly to implement the codec. It has incredible potential but still has a ways to go in implementation.
