Buongiorno, posso fare alcune (stupide)? domande :-)

You can make a replay (video delay) to a video file? It seems to me that at the moment it is only possible to do it on a camera, right? Also I was wondering if I have two cameras, it is currently not possible to set the delay on both videos but only one, right?

Thanks for the help

explain the usefulness of this feature
Vmix we use for the transmission of football matches and we use a lot of replays. Usually we send the races live, then we do the replay from the camera by selecting the capture card. But it happened that in some cases we regristrato with the camera the race, and we wanted to program it deferred, using the file directly, avoiding the camera with a post-production editing etc etc, but simulating a direct.

@ STADIORADIO
The translation does not communicate well.
I assume you are asking how the video delay feature works.
Video Delay can be used for instant replay and saved as a video file for playback later and/or used for editing a highlight reel.
Inputs can be cameras or output (program), and depending on your system can be more than one.
Here is an example of how I use it with a single camera broadcast along with vMix's stinger transition feature:

This is about a 12 or 13 second delay for "Instant Replay".
I have configured vMix to save the clip simultaneously as a video file that I can use later (depending on your system and length of your clip will stipulate how long that process can take but generally it's longer than using the delay input for "Instant Replay").
The Stinger transitions are not part of the saved videoclip.
The caveat is that there is no audio recorded with the video delay (yet... it's a current request http://forums.vmix.com.a...aspx?g=posts&t=1691)
The best bet is to play or practice with it to figure out how and what works best for you.
I hope I have interpreted your message correctly and provided some assistance.

I'm sorry I do not know English well
I use translate.google.it :-(

The replay is usually done live
I would like to replay even when not transmit live
by using a file as a source and not a camera

Thanks!

I thought of a solution
play the file from the camera

@ STADIORADIO
I still do not understand.
It sounds like you want an instant replay of a replay file???
Or you want an instant replay of a video file???
Either way, if you have the file, why do you need a replay of it? Can you not just play it again?
If you want a replay from an input other than a camera input, have you tried video delay of "output"?

I try to explain
I go with my camera and register a soccer competition in the memory card
I'll be back in the studios and I want to broadcast the match.
I take the file on the memory card and put it in the PC memory.
I do not want to make cuts and fittings, prior to airing. I send the original file on air, as if it was the camera. In this case, however, the replay can not do that, because in the Input Selec / Video Delay can not specify the file as the source.

ps I can not select output source, because there is also the title / ScoreBoard in Overlay

Thanks Ice
always friendly and helpful

it's true, it's a piti that we cannot to select de video files input for to make replays, also we cannot seclect desktop capture for this function.

Ahh yes, now I understand.
I have done this many times and you are correct, the solution is to play back the file/tape/recording with the camera in playback mode and capture to your hard drive through vMix as if it is live.
In fact, in the example I provided earlier, that is precisely what I did.
The down side to this is that it is very difficult to incorporate multiple cameras, but works flawlessly for single camera shoots.
This has not been a big deal for me since most of my work has been tape based and I have to use the camera anyway to capture to my hard drive but I can see how it is cumbersome if you are file based.
In that respect, I would support that as a feature request (although I am not sure how feasible it is to implement, but it doesn't hurt to ask)
