Hey all,

When examining the Statistics page while ingesting SRT feeds, what does the "Source Dropped" frame count refer to?

There is no capture card in the mix which normally causes these source dropped frames in a non-IP production, so what causes these dropped frames?

Thanks in advance!

Any video source can drop frames and SRT and NDI are no different.. it means thsat the video stream being received/decoded has missing frames. For SRT you can set the decoder delay to compensate for this. Give it a try it has worked for me thanks to martin for the advice. I should say that in the case of SRT the frames are not missing but maybe not yet arrived for the decoder to order and decode so adding a little delay allows the decoder to process the incoming stream correctly.
