Thanks: 1 times
Hello All

is it possible to have the vmixcall recording to be in a single file , cause currently every time the vmixcall changes quality it generates a different file, also if it disconnects for couple of seconds it generates a new file without generating black to keep the sync,, so the current situation is somehow a nightmare to edit and to re-sync all of these pieces,
i found a great work around for this exact problem by setting one of the 4 output as a vmixcall input and record that output, it does exactly what am looking for but unfortunate it takes one for the four outputs and since output 1 is set for the main show i will be left with 3 guests only,
it would be perfect if recording the original vmixcall input itself can do this.

Thanks
Haitham

This is a limitation of the recording system in vMix. You would have to run the call through the remaining 3 outputs (with input audio) and record those outputs. vMix will essentially act as a reclocker and framesync, and keep all the iso's in sync.

If you need more ISO's you will need an NDI Processing solution like Sienna TV.

If you have a local machine, outputting everything via SDI and recording baseband will also let you record these ISO's.
