Hi all,
Is anyone using any 3rd party software like Adobe After Effects for lower thirds, count-downs (e.g - prior to a live stream starting) to be used in Vmix?
Whilst I don't mind the GT Designer tool in vmix, it feels a little outdated and tired compared to the other production software out there (e.g - Davinci Resolve, etc)
Keen to hear what other people are using for the creation of their lower thirds, count downs, etc or is everyone just using the GT designer?
Thanks
R.

You can do pretty much anything in GT Designer advanced. You could also send After Effects Titles live straight from after effects with Alpha using NDI tools, which is pretty cool. Personally, I live simple Lower thirds. This is what I currently have setup with GT Designer advanced: https://vimeo.com/manage/413367094/general Plus when you have 70+ inputs, you start looking at how much processes those titles are pulling :-)

Thanks for sharing Vince, the link you sent says I'm not authorised to view that? I also just checked the licence I have which is Vmix HD, looks like I can't use GT Designer Advanced :(
