Hi,
Relatively new to vmix, I have a question about some advanced audio routing.
I would like to route all of my channels through an external mixer with 32/32 ASIO interface. The main purpose is to mix remote audio locally with a full featured mixer rather then the limited options built in to vmix. Not sure if this is possible or not. I picture it as using the mixer as a "insert" into the channel. Alternatively we could feed all the channels from vmix individually into the mixer, and then return the mix into a seperate audio input in vmix. I hope that I explained that in a way that makes sense.
The goal is to develop a package that can be used to pipe in remote musicians with the highest quality audio possible. The alternative option is to pipe in audio separately to the mixer, and then pump it back into vmix.
Thanks!

Hi Shae-Valleytech,
Apologies but I'm not seeing the question? If the question is to what extent is your plan feasible, well you are currently limited by the number of channels you can get out of Vmix. There are the following outputs that are all mappable: MASTER HEADPHONES BUS A BUS B BUS C BUS D BUS E BUS F BUS G
Assuming that your MASTER and headphones are needed for the final output and monitoring, that only leaves you with the 7 audio BUS' which are all stereo so there is essentially 14 channels for possible outputs.
I hope that helps? if not can you clarify what you want to know?
