As a sports vMixer I would like the ability to change text colors using a data source so that I don't have to go in a change the color of text on every overlay I am using depending on the team color.

Problem:
I use an excel sheet to get ready for a new game. I am able to change the following for my needs:
1. Team Names
2. Mascot Names
3. Venue
4. Stadium Name
5. Team Logos
6. and some other things not worth mentioning here.

The one thing that would save me tons of time, is the ability to change the text color from this same data source.

For example, If Team A has red colors, I have about 5 overlays that I then need to go in and change the text color. It is the only thing I can't do from the data source.

Solution:
Allow users to define the text color in the data source.
Capture.PNG (15kb) downloaded 24 time(s).

There is a function SetTextColor
There is the option of scripting to check title data from a datasource and execute the function (just to name one)

Yes! this should absolutely be supported. defining the text and shape colors via a data source field would be super beneficial. Yes they are workarounds, but this would make it way easier.

I did search and could not find this information, before I posted. Maybe I chose the wrong terms to search on. Thanks for the info. I will try to research it some more. If you could point to a forum post that explains it, I would really appreciate it if you have time.
