I've been using several Tricaster TC1 in parallel to the many vMix systems we have at the office. When we use 16 NDI inputs on Tricaster, I've figured that they dynamically switch between their low-bandwidth when not in use, and their full bandwidth mode when they are called to Preview / Program.
This is very useful on light network setups, when you only have 1Gbps link for all your NDI inputs. I was wondering if there was a way in vMix to automatically trigger a shortcut that could switch an input between these 2 bandwidth modes ? There is an "NDI Command" shortcut, but this is only for triggering actions on the NDI device.
tl;dr : an API command to control the bandwidth of a source would be great, + an auto load-balancing feature for NDI inputs would be awesome ! :D
