Hey all, I am not very skilled at video recording and mixing, so this might be a rookie question. If so, I apologize.

I am currently using vMix for recording both my camera and desktop. I am going to get to streaming once I get recording figured out. So far, the biggest issue is what appears to be dropped frames. The video is a bit choppy. When I look at the statistics, here is what I get:

In case you can't see it, my Cam Link 4k source has 1628 Renderer Dropped and 1038 in the Resync column.

I am not sure what this all means, and the documentation didn't help me much (not the documentation's fault - I'm not up on video rendering terms).

I am using the FFMPEG capture with the following settings:
Size: 1920x1080
Frame Rate: NTSC 29.97p
Codec: MPEG-2
Format: Transport Stream (ts)
Video Quality: 50M
Audio Quality: 384k

My camera is a Sony Alpha a5100. I am using a HDMI cable into a Cam Link 4K device, which is plugged in USB3 directly to the motherboard. The rest of my PC specs are:
Video Card: NVideo GeForce RTX 2070
RAM: 32GB
Processor: Intel i7-7700K 4.2GHz
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Hard Drive: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD plugged directly into the motherboard

Can you help point me in the right direction of what I am doing wrong? One quick note: I am using Handbrake to convert the ts file to MP4 at the end but that does not seem to be the issue.
