I am connecting a vMixCall over gigabit ethernet here on my local network. Chrome is forcing a 640x320 resolution or at least this is what Call Manager is telling me...and yes it looks like 640x320.

The camera is capable of full HD. If I use Firefox I get 1280x720 and if I use beta.vmixcall.com Call Manager shows me the camera is connecting at 1920x1080 (wow, I didn't think this was possible).

So two questions.

1. How do I get Chrome to give me the resolution the camera is capable of?

2. Along this line a frequent issue I run into is that Chrome, or Firefox also for that matter, will not release a callers's built in camera and allow them to access an external. If they click the camera icon on the menu bar they can't change anything. If they click "manage" and go into the browser settings they can select the other camera, but when the connect the browser reverts back to the built-in. How can I change this?

beta.vmixcall.com makes this very easy but I don't want to send client callers to a beta site.

Thanks.

Greg
