Higher audio bitrate for a caller (remote guest)

Hi!
The video bandwidth of a remote guest calling via vMix Call is adjustable, but there is no influence on the audio bitrate. It would be nice to have that one adjustable, too. Especially, please remove the limit of 64 KBit/sec. My goal is to host music festivals with musicians from all over the world broadcasting live music via vMix Call. For a decent sound, audio bitrates up to 320 kbps would be helpful.

vMixCall is based on WebRTC, a protocol vMix has no control over. WebRTC uses OPUS audio codec which is a very powerful codec for what WebRTC is designed for : videoconferencing.
The real question here is : is WebRTC a good solution for your project ? My answer is no... You wouldn't be here asking for improvements otherwise.
Another good question imho is : is there a better solution for your project ? My answer is yes... Already available and fully compatible with vMix.
A few leads to consider:
- NDI over Internet
- SRT
- TS over UDP
just to name a few protocols fully configurable where you could reach the audio quality you expect.
Another solution I would truly consider for perfect audio transport (on top of which you can associate any "video" protocol for the image only) : Unity Connect
Others I've played with (audio oriented) : Cleanfeed or Source-Connect
Frankly your project on vMixCall is a deadend... Don't get frustrated, just use the right tools for what you need. You don't provide a Bontempi keyboard to a world-class pianist who expects a Steinway !

Vmix call is great feature, audio needs to jump to 128kb...seriously, its not a call, fot me its 3rd party softwares killer....
