I have experienced a few shows now that Vmix Pro is getting unstable after my 3/4 Vcall.
Often it starts with Vcalls that drop frames like crazy. ( Something we can not control.) internet on our side is heavy duty. Brand new threadripper with RTX2070 card.
So the machine looks like render times go up while the Vcall is in progress.. Sometimes hitting over 20ms. And we see dropped output render frames on the output, virtual output and also Rec and Stream..
But render times stay high and spiking after the Vcall has ended and closed.
As if a buffer somewhere is filled and Vmix is not emptying it / Vmix is not keeping up anymore to catch up with normal business..
After a reboot it runs fine without issues the same show. Untill we start with Vcall again..
Had a few shows that we decided not to do Vcalls and those shows ran without a single render drop...
How to properly debug this problem? Is there some verbose output i can turn on to see what is happening or some logging to check what went wrong??

I've tested with a total of 8 vmix-calls, most local wifi, two mobile-network and 1 external call. It works good so far, and I have noticed some unstability in vmix. No dropped frames or rendertimes so far, but the interface becomes slow and for example opening the settings takes longer than usual. At the end I wanted to save my whole vmix preset and it reported an exeption, it cannot save, some corrupted memory. vmix does not crash, but it cannot save anymore. I've not yet figured out, when this happens exactly, but I've sent the bug report through the vmix-error-message.

Xtreemtec Media,
Please send a support report in vMix when the issue occurs and drop us an email to investigate further.
pingu2k,
This sounds like a fault we have seen with some VST3 plugins, were you using any plugins in your setup? If so one of them may be slowly slowing the UI down and removing it will allow you to save the preset again.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Hi Martin, thanks for the reply. I've not used any plugins. A slow-down is briefly viewable on my machine (enough headroom) and not disturbing. I'm using two (of four) SDI-inputs, testing with 8 calls, some music, gfx and a few videos, but after some time (still figuring out when) I'm not able to save anymore. Anmerkung 2020-05-28 170710.png (79kb) downloaded 1 time(s). (German system) If I get any more details, I let you know. Thanks so far!

Might be helpful to Translate fro Martin ;-)
There was an attempt to write to or read from a protected drive. This is often an indication that another drive is damaged

I can confirm this error is due to using a VST3 plugin pingu2k, as I just checked your error report in our system. Maybe you were not aware you added it?
This is caused by the Youlean Loudness Meter 2 which appears to have a memory leak in its code.
