I'm missing a hardware decoder option for NDI|HX based inputs. Is this really not possible? Multiple NDI|HX cameras are eating our CPU power and I would really like to work with a 10 core system with four camera inputs.

Hi,
Hardware decoding for NDI|HX is only of benefit to single cameras running in programs like Studio Monitor. It is generally recommended by NewTek to not use this for multiple inputs as it can cause graphics card performance issues hence why we don't enable it in vMix.

Thanks for this direct answer. So can I solve my problems with more CPU power? Let's say a 32 core ThreadRipper: will vMix utilize all the cores and I can use all our NDI|HX inputs without troubles (6 x Panasonic PTZ, 3 NewTek Spark Connect) at once? :)

Martin vMix Is this still valid for NDI HX3? Best regards, Patrick
