Hi everybody, I hope someone can offer some advice as to what I'm doing wrong please?
I have two machines, one which has Skype and the other which has my vMix HD 23.0.54 x64 (1 caller, hence why I'm using Skype as I can have up to 5 people).
I can input Skype via NDI to vMix without any problems - both audio and visual is perfect, in fact the systems runs smoothly using Skype on another machine (less cpu issues), the problem I have is returning the audio back to Skype from vMix so the guest(s) can hear my audio being played (such as music, footage etc) but not their own voices.
I'm using Bus B as an output for selected clips, I've also selected NDI source as an audio input in Skype on the second machine (NDI is enabled under advanced in Skype).
Sadly, my guests can't hear anything!
Strangely though, if I add a microphone input and select Bus B so only my guests can hear me talk to them, it's very faint (I've tried increasing the audio gain)! I don't understand why they can hear the mic be it very low, but not the audio clips (Bus B has been selected and enabled), all strange to me!
Would anyone suggest either another route to go by, or explain what I'm doing wrong please, thanks in advance?
Sims.

Hi, So just going to run through each step here hopefully it highlights something that was missed. In vmix: -Enable a return bus (bus B) in the audio outputs section of the settings menu. -Go to Outputs/NDI/SRT in the settings menu. -Set the desired output to NDI on. -Set that outputs audio source to the desired bus (bus B) -Ensure that +20db boost is enabled as you are going to a none broadcast destination (Skype)
-On the Skype machine -Open NDI tools virtual input -Set virtual input to correct source -Open skype -Ensure skype is using Newtek NDI ass source for both camera and microphone -Ensure NDI outputs is turned on in skype
That should be it. I would also say if that's not working then check the NDI feed on the skype computer with NDI tools studio monitor.
