For a few weeks everything was working fine: vMix was sending video to Skype via NDI, all on the same PC. Suddenly I can't make this work: it works over the network if I use Skype and NDI on a second machine but no longer on the same machine.

Could I have changed a setting to cause this?

I got same issue when i installed Visual Studio on my computer. Uninstalled it and skype works fine now. Maybe something new installing on your computer causing this.
