I'm playing around with Dante Via with vMix and connecting to a Yamaha mixing consolej with a Dante interface. What I'm trying to do is send multiple vMix buses (plus Master) to the Dante network so the mixing console can pick it up, and the inverse have multiple console inputs sent to vMix and be usable.

I started with multiple vMix buses and I'm not seeing multiple outputs on the network but rather just one. Where am I going wrong? Have others done this? Guidance is appreciated.

Sure, you can add a link in the controller on each junction. The master L+R is the default.

OK I've learned what the key/problem is. If you don't have your vMix Dante channels "patched" in controller when you launch vMix vMix doesn't see those outputs as active and doesn't show any audio buses. As soon as you "patch" and relaunch the buses appear as expected.

Update: They need to be patched AND online/active. So in my case I'm sending audio to a Dante enabled mixing console, if they console is off when I launch vMix the buses aren't shown.
