Martin,

Before I go crazy creative I wonder if you can tell us if the underlying design of vMix theoretically support changing the settings for an existing input that is of the "input" type.

One typical scenario where this would come in handy is when one needs to change the input source, for example replacing a 720p camera with a 1080i camera. While it is today possibly the check/uncheck the deinterlacing, resolution cannot be changed. Ideally it would also be possible to change the capture source (e.g. from a Magewell USB dongle to a BM Intensity Pro.

Ideas/thoughts?

It's something i'm working on for the next release.

There will be a Change button added to Input Settings that brings up the Add Input window
so you can select a source to replace it with.
All Input Settings will be preserved with the exception of the new camera settings obviously.
