4k camera (Sony AX33) displaying as a 1080p source instead of 2160p

My goal is to use the multicorder (or at least the recording function) to record 4k video of my art process, so that I can edit and manipulate in Davinci Resolve.
I have a Sony AX33 4k camcorder hooked up via HDMI to a DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder video capture card. It is recognized as an input and source video comes through. When adding a new input, I select the camera, and resolution (3840x2160) Frame Rate NTSC 30p the rest as default. Hit OK. The window seems to save, everything blinks and when I check the input in VMIX, the description is listed as 1920x1080 60p. When I test the recording capabilities, the file generated is 1920x1080.
I've modified the vmix settings for 2160 30p as well as the recording settings for mp4 to no avail.
In the menu for the SONY ax33, I've set the HDMI resolution to 2160p/1080p (only other option is 1080p, 1080i, 720p, auto).
I feel like i've been pretty thorough, and the only thing I can think of is the camcorder down shifting the video output to 1080p/60 instead of 4k.
Thanks for any help, or direction in resolving this. I'm at my wits end.
Thanks.

Maybe it would be better to use Recording 1/2 slots when making ISO recording from camera? It would give you more control over resolution, quality and audio.

Ok...That helped ... sorta. I was able to export recording to multiple different sizes, but I feel like it's just resizing the resolution. the incoming input from the 4k video feed is still stuck at 1920x1080. which i guess is the major concern. I'll play around with the settings in the recording setup to see if those are used for the multicorder functionality some more.
Any ideas on "forcing" my video feed to stay at 4k/2160p?

OK I resolved it. Andrey, you helped and lead me down some testing paths to figure this out.
For future reference, The Sony AX33 was "downsizing" the output to 1080p 60. even though the option to select HDMI output says "2160p/1080p". There is an additional option/setting under Image size, to record at various sizes. that had to be set to 4k as well. It now displays in VMIX Input settings correctly.
Thanks!
