Hi. 1st Post here.

I did a number of searches but couldn't find how to add background music to my YouTube livestream.

I'd like to source the music from something like Pretzel, etc.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Simply import the music files as a list input. Turn off automatically mix audio. Start the list playing.

Note you will probably have issues with copyright strikes on YT with your approach. Consider using the YT supplied tracks to minimise this risk. Feel free to PM me if you need to discuss this more.

thanks 1 user thanked ask for this useful post.

Thank you very much for your help.

Yes, I will definitely be using royalty free stuff.

You can also find different music sources and add music to your Youtube livestream.

That is an interesting topic to discuss, especially due to the fact that now it's easier to get a strike because of that damn copyright system than to get a strike because you are filming someone's death, for example. It’s not something straight out of my mind, I really remember watching a video where some young buddies were jumping on roofs and one of them had fallen, and then I’ve noticed that the music was disabled due to copyright violation. To avoid it, don’t fall for those fancy songs, use melodies from free licenced banks like Depositphotos and this way you will feel sure about your videos!
