Hi guys,
I have a HD License of vMix (versiom 23.0.0.54) and I have music festival with more the 100 artists that sent me their videos, but some are upside down in vMix.
It doesn't happen when I play the same video on players like VLC, Windows Media Player, etc.
Any idea?
Thank you.

This happens often with mobile phone videos. You can simply rotate these videos around the Z axis. (3.14) double click on your input, go to: -Position -Rotate (choose Z on the grey Button on the left side of the slider) -slide until the image is rotated, you can enter direct 3.14 in the digit field or use the mouse wheel, when the cursor is positioned over the slider
Some programs evaluate the held position of the phone better than others. Even VLC often does not automatically recognize a rotated video. PS: Do you know Google Search? Enter "Rotate Video Vmix" once...

On most cel phones, persons have the phone rotated the wrong way....maybe you should try rotating the phone so that the control buttons are on your right hand side.....if that is not the problem, then you have to rotate them in vMix as described by Peter1000...or maybe , as in some phones, there is an option to flip the video....check your phone manual and see what it says...

Hi Peter, I have about 100 videos, it's a festival, and it's in real time, I will put the files in a playlist, and I will not have enough time to rotate a specific video, and reset the rotate for the next one...it's impossible.

Hi JoeBoe, There are 100 videos, from 100 different musicians, there's no way to ask them to record again...the most strange is that they showed me the videos in the normal orientation in their computers (screenshot)...and I'm her without an explanation!! vMix simply can't handle with it.

Either you are looking for another software or you are looking for a solution. -create a virtual input from your list input -rotate the picture in your virtual input on the head t3.PNG (61kb) downloaded 0 time(s).-set the rotated input in the multiviewer(1) from the list input t2.PNG (7kb) downloaded 0 time(s).-make a shortcut to switch the multiviewer on or off t1.PNG (20kb) downloaded 0 time(s).with a little attention when switching to a new video you can turn the picture around quickly

mr_kholl,
I suggest you send an e-mail to vMix support and somehow share one of the video files that are upside down. I've had similar experiences, not with videos filmed on phones held upside down. I believe that vMix does not correctly recognize the position for some files. (unfortunately I do not have access to any of the files that troubled me)
