Hi there,

I am building a scorecard in GT, which is all good. I have text in the graphic which in vMix I will link the appopriate text cell in an Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet calculates scores and rankings and puts in the right order.

Within the GT scorecard, I have also added small image placeholders against each position, for which I want to dynamically change the picture in that window based on a the data I have in a cell in the Excel sheet (could be text or number). The images are located in a single folder and apropriatly sized. Does anyone know if it is possible to change an image in vMix based on the image field in the GT graphic? Would putting the file name/path in the Excel help?

Hope that makes sense. Any thoughts greatly apreciated.

Thanks,

Andrew.

Yes, if the correct file path is in the cell, and Data Sources point to that cell for an Image field in your Title, it will change dynamically as the cell change is saved.

Same as Ice said but
a bit easier is as you have the images in a local folder anyway is to just use the data (nr or text) that matches the image name (don't even need the file extension ) and put the file location in the title editor format field where {0} replaces the data .

example : d:/myfolder/{0}.jpg

Makes it also easier if the file folder location should change as you would only have to change one thing in the title instead of all in the excel file
