I am pretty new to VMix and still figuring it all out so I may have missed this if it is available. I would like to setup a shortcut that would allow me to mute or unmute the audio channels of certain inputs all at once. The situation is that we are doing live streaming with 3 to 4 calls coming in. We typically start off our streams with a pre-stream and then some kind of intro. I would like to be able to mute all the inputs that contain calls while this is happening and then be able to unmute them at the correct time with one key (or even a fade in or fade out), but I only want to mute those calls and not every thing. Is this possible?

There are several ways to to do it. The easiest: You can bind multiple shortcuts to one key.

Well, damn. That makes sense. So if I say had three calls on a live stream, I would setup three shortcuts, one to mute each call but assign them all to the same key. Does this have to be setup after the calls are setup or is there a way to have the calls automatically be attached to each shortcut? Also, do I have to have a separate mute shortcut and unmute shortcut?

I really appreciate the info. I'm having to learn this stuff really quickly. Normally I just do audio but that's in a studio. At home, I've got to do everything.

Yes, usually you set them up after the calls are set up.

You can use one key to mute/unmute. The function is called 'Audio'.

See:
https://www.vmix.com/hel...utFunctionReference.html

Another way could be, to dedicate an Audio Bus to the calls/inputs you want to mute. You can then send this bus to the Master bus, and mute/unmute the bus. That way you can easily add new inputs to this bus, and your mute key. If you have a Midi device you can also use an activator to see if the bus is muted or not.
