I'm wondering if there's some way to get information from the vMix environment into a title?

For example, the playback timers on the top right of output / preview on the multiviewer, is there a way to populate a title with them?

If so, is there a way to "lookup" environment data that are available to do this with?

Thanks,
-Elliot

Lots of info/data can be found through the api xml or even the config file.

One can retrieve and process them with scripting.

Check the "scripting for dummies" and numerous other posts in this forum

Thanks Doggy, that's helpful. I've skimmed some of them and have them on my reading list.

For this purpose, maybe it will be helpful to try and explain what I'm hoping to do with it - I didn't see data (at least not easily) available through the XML that would do this.

I'd like to take the current video countdown and use it as a title. Is that doable?

You can do this with the Timecode Reader APP. It does exactly that, and it just runs in the background..

Thanks Richard, this is fantastic!

If you don't mind me asking, where is your app reading that data from?

Got it, thanks again for the help, and the app!

Also thanks @Doggy - I'm looking forward to digging into those scripting threads this week.
