I have noticed that different containers give me different quality of audio. Can anyone shed any light on this? When I record the WAV file, it sounds really good. But VmixAVI & MP4 both sound inferior to the straight WAV file that both come out of Vmix.

Thanks in advance.

Yes,

WAV files are uncompressed that is why they sound so good, WAV files are used in the professional audio industry and MP3 files are compressed.
