Hi
I don't know if there is an issue?

I have mainly mp4 videos and cannot set the mark in or outs easily as the mark ins reset themselves as I am trying to position them.

Is there something I am missing that will prevent them from jumping around?

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but if you had previously added a "Mark In" you need to "Reset In" before programming a new "Mark In" . I think this was probably done by design.
