I use the PTZoptics Webcam 80 with Teams, Obs and Windows camera app. It works great.
When I use the camera on the same machine with Vmix I have frame issues. 30P looks like 20P

- tried different USb ports
- Energy saving USB turned off
- Newest firmware
- Tried other machine same issue
- Tried different resolutions (normal 1920*1080)For example 1280*720 and different frame settings

Windows 10 64bits
I7
Intel Graphics
16GB memory

PTZoptics has no solution. Every config in OBS and Vmix are the same.

Please help.

I have found that with FHD inputs, the default Video Format setting in VMix won't work. When you add the camera, click on the Video Format and change from default to MJPG. I'm willing to bet that will solve the problem. I ran into this with another HD web cam and also with a HDMI capture card. I was beginning to think they just weren't compatible until I stumbled upon this solution.

It seems to me that almost every time a FHD camera input stutters, drops frames and has other problems, they go away once the video format is changed to MJPG. Lower resolution inputs usually will work fine with the default setting. (all my testing has been with cameras and capture devices with a USB connection).

I also recently added a PTZ Optics Webcam 80 and find it a great, portable and inexpensive option for streaming!
