I host a show with several guests calling in via vMix call. At the start of the show there's an intro sequence I play, and at the end a credit roll. I have all the audio channels set to automatic mix so that nobody accidentally talks over the the videos, which works perfectly, but also means I can't talk to my guests while those videos are playing.

I know you can set up secondary buses to create virtual green rooms, but is there a way to make this work with automatic mixing? It would be really nice if when click the button to roll the credits, it also turned prevented our audio from mixing into master, but still allowed us to hear each other talking. Does anyone know if this is possible?

@ PaulS

There are several ways to set this up, with Trggers.
I would suggest having everyone on Bus A, send Bus A to Master for Program and Trigger it off Master when rolling credits.

Yeah, Triggers are the piece I was missing. I'll have to go do some reading / watching on how those work. Thanks!
