hello,

i watch a lot of tutorials but never find a answer to my question.


i have a Blackmagic Decklink Duo card. There i have 4 In or Outputs.

now my Problem:

I looks like vMix only have two Ports for Output. i Wanna use SDI1out for Preview, SDI2our for Multiview and SDI3out for Output. Bit this dont works....? In the software at settings at External Output i only have two External.

So why is there no more?

The same Problem on Fullscreen for PC Monitors. On Layout i only have two Fullscreen but i have 4 Monitors...

Why?

Why? I don't know. But there is a workaround for multiple display's connected to your displaycard. Use Newtek Studio Monitor fullscreen on the 3th and 4th monitor and send a NDI stream to it.
This way, together with your Decklink outputs, you can use 6 monitors plus the one with vMix main screen!

vMix is limited to have only 2 External Outputs (Output 1 and 2) which can be taken for a capture card or virtual camera. For Output 3 and 4, you need to use NDI or SRT and convert that ndi/srt signal to decklink card. You can test it via ffmpeg (for ndi use an old version which you can find here in the forum).
Maybe in the future will have all 4 Outputs on External
