hello my church is just getting started live streaming and right now we are using OBS. My pastor is currently streaming from his home with all the A/V equipment. i know you can control vmix from a device on the same network but what about from my laptop in my house outside of my pastors home network? im looking for a way to take the load off him.

This is possible if you have vMix setup on a DDNS server and use an application like the Panel Builder to control vMix. Setting up a DDNS server is a little tricky for most folks but you can get information from searching the internet. Many broadcasters use this method. There are some free DDNS services like FreeDNS.
