Hey all. Trying to use SRT to connect three computers running VMix. Two of them are in our studio in Melbourne, one is in Queensland.
Here's what we're trying to achieve.
MELB STUDIO 1 (PC 1) Create a news update that outputs via SRT
QUEENSLAND STUDIO This is where the program is being controlled. Needs to receive the Melbourne news update with banter between news host in Melbourne, and host in Queensland. Full program is then output from Queensland back to Melbourne, to the second Master Control Computer.
MELB STUDIO MASTER CONTROL (PC 2) Receives full output of Qld program mix, adds overlay (bug etc), and streams out live.
We are using SRT Rendezvous. Earlier in the week, we tested it, and Queensland could see LIVE output from the studio 1, which was great, but we couldn't see QLD (both using rendezvous). We tried Called/Listener but nothing worked other than rendezvous, but as I say, only Qld could see Melbourne.
Then when we outputted from Qld computer, Melbourne received nothing on the master control computer.
We have played around with settings, and now Qld has lost all signal from Melbourne. We have watched all the videos, read an googled everything, but something isn't working.
Also, both Melb computers are on a network - so when we google "whats my IP" they both come up the same. Wondered if that might be a problem? I checked each computer IP address and we tried that, but again, nothing.
We are launching on Monday and thought it would be straight forward.
Any help would be appreciated!
