I have four guests coming into a vMix session during a live show. I would like to have the ability to talk to the guests independently of each other from the gallery. Is this possible ? I have an external XR18 mixer and was thinking this could a solution. My main mic is routed through the XR18 via XLR and then back into a vMix as a X-AIR ASIO input.
Can I send an independent vMix AUX bus audio output to each caller when they are not on air? We now have the bonus of ABCDE etc
I am also looking for a web based cueing system to remote cue a presenter.
Interested to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks

Hi Richard thanks for the advice but I did have a look around but I couldn't find anything about how to unlock the additional Bus's. I can only find Bus A and Bus B within vMix call and not C<D<E<F<G.. wondering if we ca use the additional Buses for the different talkback channels we have going for this production.

@ Ralston,
Once Audio Buses C to G are enabled in Settings ===> Audio Outputs They will be available in the vMix Audio Mixer by right clicking on the [M][A][B] buttons of the Input in the Audio Mixer.

The exploded interest in vMix Call, and need for Talkback (implemented using many buses), illustrates the difficulty in seeing bus C-G. So, consider adding your vote the Request about a more intuitive layout of bus selection and overview https://forums.vmix.com/...-additional-audio-busses

Hi Wouter ... No I didnt .. It doesnt look like the XR18 gives you the ability to output its BUS outputs via the ASIO Driver - only the inputs into the mixer...but... there is nothing stopping you hard cabling from the bus via XLR back into a spare input .. will test that tomorrow. I was recording a four way chat this evening via vMix call and couldnt get the Video Source/Audio Source sends to work either .. I want to be able to send a different screen back to the callers rather than the main TX output along with a audio Bus say BUS 3 which would have a different director on the call's talkback channel .. I was able to select BUS C for one incoming caller but not two, the second caller input wouldn't allow me to change the BUS to C only Master ...

Hey Mavik, Thanks so much for taking the time to show this to us. The Air XR18 is such a powerful outboard mixer and combining it now with vmix will be a god send for us. Thanks again.

@ contact.jthomaskay@gmail.comYou do not need an external mixer with vMix (in fact, it can complicate things if being used bi-directionally). Ice
