hi - I'm new to vMix and to broadcasting software in general.

I've searched the forums and haven't found anything that quite matches what i'm trying to hopefully do. I have an MP4 video with audio i'm using as a source and i need to delay it so it will sync up with an live camera input. The camera has roughly a 900ms delay. It's not just the audio of the MP4 that needs to be delayed. The MP4 video AND audio need to stay as is, but needs to be delayed by 900ms second at its output to sync up with the camera input.

The idea is....since everyone is stuck inside due to quarantines, I have a band that would like to have all their separately recorded parts summed in the MP4 (already done) EXCEPT the member that's broadcasting live. THAT person will be LIVE and their performance (karaoke of sorts) needs to be sync'd up to that pre-recorded MP4 video so the band appears to be all together. The live cam delay is 900ms. Delaying the LIVE audio for the live camera 900ms is no big deal....just how to delay the MP4 video AND audio OUTPUT 900ms so EVERYTHING is then in sync. The Mp4 video/audio and the split screen LIVE audio/video.

Is there a way to do this? or is this just something that wouldn't be possible?

This must be me being new to vMix, but when i go to add input > NDI. Nothing shows up. The wheel just keeps spinning as if it's looking for something and nothing ever shows up.

Currently I have the MP4 video added to my project but i don't see anyway to select outputs and route anything as an NDI input. I'm probably just overlooking something i'm sure.
