Its seems your implementation of the encoder used for your SRT implementation is unable to encode interlaced signals, or 50fps.

I am trying to connect 2 vMix systems together using SRT but at only 25fps I can only get half the field rate across the link. No good for fast Sports.

I use SRT outside of vMix and have no issue with 1080i50 signals.

Is this just an oversite?

Please don't make me use RTMP,

I have done a quick test and I can send a video in 50p. From one vMix at a location A to another vMix on location B over the public internet. I'm happy to send you some tests. Just send a PM.

Agree, I can do 50p, but not 50i - 50p needs twice the bandwidth of 50i

SRT doesn't support Interlace mode natively from in the specification
from the SRT Alliance from what I have read.

Since alot of the processing is done on the GPU, its best to use a progressive signal, otherwise you will have to add additional latency for both frames to come in. It's best to just deinterlace the signal before sending 50i is the same as 25p
