Hi there,

A producer asked me today if we could broadcast a show to Facebook in 9x16 (portrait mode) or even 1:1 for Facebook. Is this possible?

Cheers

@ Tone13

Sort of kinda YES!
It is possible to configure your Stream as one of the following:
Original / 9:16 / 1:1
"Stream" button cog wheel ===> "Quality" cog wheel ===> "Aspect Ratio/Crop" dropdown menu
https://www.vmix.com/help23/StreamingQuality.html

Of note, this will be a crop of the actual (Original) vMix Output (typically 16:9) which you can more or less preview in Preview if you apply the appropriate "Safe Area" markers.

Thanks for the reply IceStream. Good to know.

It would also be great to be able to have a vMix preset for portrait or even 1:1 too as it would solve so many other issues.

Cheers
