Dear vMixers,

I'm kind of at a loss, and can't find a solution:

- Audio Source for vMix Callers is M
- Routing Input X to Bus A (or B, C,...), and routing Bus A to M
- Input X audio level can be seen on Master bus and can be heard on External Output, Stream etc., but can not be heard by the vMix Callers

Is that by design? Can anyone confirm this? I might be overlooking something.

Tested it on 23.0.0.46, also on a backup machine (23.0.0.39).

Thank you!

Hi,

Yes the audio feeds sent to callers will not include any buses routed to Master in the mixer, so you will need to use a different workflow
such as a dedicated bus for the callers that has all the sources it needs.

Here is the notes from the help file:

Sending Audio Bus to Master

Click the M button underneath buses A-G to include the audio in Master and Headphones.
Note: vMix Call Master/Headphones audio excludes any buses sent to master using this method as doing so would prevent mix minus from working correctly.

Thank you very much for the answer, Martin, now it's clear to me!
