Hi all, I was checking a CPU usage while I was using vMix, and realized that the high usage is coming from Panel Builder.....vMix is using 3.6% - 8%, while Panel Builder is using 24% - 35%...is there a reason for this?. .. or is there a way to lower the CPU usage?

The panel builder app does consume a fair amount of CPU because of the processing required to accurately update tallies and mostly VU's (updates every 100ms in order to give a reasonably accurate reading on VU's). If the computer running vMix is not that powerful, and you are running panel builder on the same computer, you may have a fairly high CPU usage. Ideally, in that case, you should run panel builder on a different computer or tablet (coming soon).
There will be an iPad and Android version released in the next few weeks. You will be able to design your panel using Panel Builder on your PC or Mac, and then sync the files to your tablet. I'm just awaiting a final approval from the Google Play Store.

Is it possible to disable the VU update if no VU meters are used? Or maybe a low cpu usage option for updating once in 200ms in stead of 100ms (saves a factor 2 cpu usage).
