We (I and my client) got this error. BUT if we change host name to IP of this server then it works.
Also we check "ping -a amst.rtmpminiserver.com" and it resolve correctly.
We try use ffmpeg with host name URL - no problem.
So it seems new vMix can't correctly resolve names sometimes (client have not the issue on previous versions).
Can you please check.
