Having come from other production apps with very smooth and varied transitions available, I am finding vMix's lack of choice and overall poor performance on this measure disappointing.

For instance, when doing a "merge" in a photo slide show, the merge-out seems to be smooth, but then the merge-in is more of a "cut". The first slide slowly fades away, but then the new slide suddenly appears. It is very unappealing and jerky in appearance. Why is there no "merge in" or "fade in" for the new slide?

Is there anywhere to go to download additional animations? Can these be manipulated at all?
