We are new to vMix. I have one issue that I can't seem to find an easy workaround.
I would like a visual way to know which input is on which overlay channel.
As a new user I find myself trying to remember What input I assigned to the which overlay channel. AND by accident overlaid a totally wrong input instead of my screen bug.
Highlighting, in the input box, the overlay channel that the input is assigned to would do the tick.
If I missed something that can show this, let me know. Otherwise, this is a very handy feature request.

Have a look under the input, it will highlight the overlay number it is on
If you would like another visualization one can check the vMix API xml which can tell you which number of the input is on which overlay and use that info to put in a title of some sort , search for the few posts in the forum on how to indicate in big bold writing if one is recording and other things

So you need to remember which it was. We are a couple of operators and change place during a show...it can be very confusing. I just want the box to highlight which overlay it was used on last so I can just reactivate that overlay. visually and simple. Oz

Yeah that happens with a lot of things , then pics are often prove of how it was ;-) Why not bind it with a shortcut for example (bug on overlay x ... always )

As doggy said, just use a shortcut. Expected behavior every time, no need to worry about the different operators when you have a cetain button for a certain job.
It is also much easier to bring on new people this way: You press this button, that happens.
