I have a PC where vMix is installed and a laptop that I want to include in my streams so there I intalled vMix Desktop Capture.

The problem is that the NDI source is not detected when both applications are started, you can see below:

The laptop where the vMix Desktop Capture for NDI - 23.0.0.4 is started is:
Acer Aspire, Win 10, Intel i7, 12 GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 520

The PC where the vMix 21.0.0.61 is started is:
Windows 7 Professional, Intel i5, 4 GB

Both computers are connected to the same network, no antivirus/firewall programs are installed.

Still you can see that the PC is not detecting any NDI signal from the laptop.

I've red the problems from the website but none of them seem to be the case.

I have been having a similar problem in my setup. If the computer that runs vmix is connected by an Ethernet cable I don’t have any problems connecting a NDI device that is cabled or wireless. If the computer that runs mix is connected to the network by WiFi, on some networks I cannot see the NDI devices. I suspect this may be a router causing the problem, but I have not found a solution to the problem.
I really need this to work when I am setup in a mobile setting and do not have access to an Ethernet cable.

I think that problem is different versions of NDI that is integrated in different versions of vMix. You should send email to vmix support.

NDI is backward compatible, also the discovery.

Are your network connections on both sides set to "private"?
