I need a flip transition in GT Title Editor, as though one flipped a card with the new image on "the back" (upon DataChange). In other words, it would be like a single rotation, but as the image rotated past the edgewise frame, it would be the new image.

I've tried variations and combinations of the rotate transition, but two things make this impossible:

  • The rotate transition rotates twice within the duration specified, requiring perfectly timed fades to make it disappear while the image is "on it's edge"
  • The entire animation for DataChangeIn completes before the animation for DataChangeOut begins, preventing this "split second crossfade" trick.

I saw one other post on this from a few months back, and the answer made sense except, as I noted above, one animation has to complete before the other, so you can't have the new image rotate overlap the old image rotate.

Am I missing something? Otherwise, I need to add a feature request.
