vMix SRT not working with Teradek & Haivision

Hi Team! Just working with Teradek Core and also with Haivision Makito X hardware and Software and not having a lot of luck with vMix SRT. vMix to vMix SRT is working. Teradek Core to vMix is working. However vMix to Teradek Core is not working. I can see in the performance page that vMix keeps trying to establish the connection but never locks on.

vMix to Haivision Makito X is not working either nor is Haivision Play for Android. Same result when reversing the connection. Both these work with Teradek Core. Also if I go from Teradek Core to vMix it is working as mentioned above. I have tried both Hardware and Software encoder in vMix and this has not made a difference.

Has anyone here experienced anything similar? Cheers, Dave.

Hi Dave,
I have successfully used vMix with Haivision SRT Gateway, both to send and receive in vMix. I have not tried it with Makito X or Core so I can't help you there, but it works very well with Haivision SRT Gateway.

Thanks Maximus! I have also successfully connected to the Haivision Play 2000 STB but stuck with the Makito X and also with Teradek Core Cloud Helios Engine.

I make SRT connections with Haivision Play 2000 STB without any problem. Just make sure the port number you setup is port foward (UDP) in you network.

As I already mentioned I can connect SRT streams generated by vMix to the Haivision Play 2000 STB without issue. My problem is vMix SRT generated streams to Teradek Core and to Haivisions Makito X decoders. Networking is not the issue. Thanks.

Where you able to figure out the issue of SRT sends to Makito decoders?
