Some things I've run into in GT editor:
- Double clicking on an item name on the layer/object tree to change it's name doesn't cause it to go into edit mode UNTIL you right click on it immediately after double clicking, at which time the name is in edit mode (text box / cursor) underneath the right click menu. So, to rename an item in the tree from the tree, I double click on the name (nothing happens), then right click on it (menu opens and the name goes into edit mode), then carefully click on the item name edit text box to select it / set focus on it.
- When selecting items in the layer/object tree, frequently it will cause the order of items in that tree to randomly move to a different position which is extremely frustrating. This happens with objects under a layer, and with layers themselves. This isn't me being dumb and dragging things by accident - the mere selection of a different item is enough to make it jump.

Hi,
I am not able to duplicate these problems, so there must be something strange going in with that system and/or mouse.
Can you create a short screencap video demonstrating the issue?
