Hello,

SRT Player for Android and iPhone.

In vMix PC: Settings - Outputs / NDI / SRT - SRT Type: Listener-Port: Number - OK
For example port: 12345

In SRT Player (Android or iPhone) green+ - Enter: srt: // (local ip of the vMix Pc): Port number. (SRT Mode=Caller)
For example: srt://192.168.1.100:12345

Haivision has a player for Android also. It works very well in tests we have done in house. Haivision Play for Android.

Hi,
in the SLDP Player site web https://softvelum.com/player/web/ there is a way to embed video in web page... but the srt protocol video doesn't seem to work.

Do you know a valid alternative?

SLDP works fine, I've been using it for years (with Nimble Streaming Server). It's low latency is great. SRT potentially better, but yet to see a web based SRT Player.

SLDP however doesn't work in IOS without an App (SLDP Player). Maybe one day Safari will support the right media extensions.

My workflow is VMix SRT -> Nimble -> SLDP Web Player. Excluding IOS, latency < 2 seconds is very doable. (can be done with the app on Apple).

It used to be VMix RTMP -> Nimble -> SLDP Web Player.

Adding SRT increased my latency slightly as it's fixed latency to the streaming server, but it handles glitches in mobile networks better. So I'm a big fan of using SRT to replace RTMP.

Anyone find an SRT "Web Player" that works on all devices let me know, I'm seeing that so I can change from Vmix SRT -> Nimble -> End User SRT Web Player. That would be ideal, not because SLDP is bad, bt I do like SRT's video recovery aspects for packet loss.

SLDP essentially drops frames to catch up (to the latency you set). SRT will "try" to fix video frames with it's error correction and recovery techniques and hold a latency value.
