Hi,
I'm sure there's an easy way to do this.
Rather than streaming through a host to webcast - which we may end up doing anyway ..... I'd like to offer my client the option of streaming (with vMix (obviously)) direct to one location.
The reason for this, is that the event is two way - where we transmit a live surgical procedure, to an audience - in a lecture theater, where they view and ask questions of the surgeons as they operate.
The latency of going via a host, transcoding etc etc could be too much for this event. BUT - the prospect of making this lucrative via PPV could over-ride this concern.
Suggestions greatly appreciated !
Thanks,
Pete

Hi Pete,
I use Teradek Cube for point to point. It works well, at least for me. Email me (max@vumax.net)if you want to discuss further

I have used Ubiquity as well and it worked great. Line of Sight is essential and you will still need to Encode/Decode over the Ubiquity, so you are back to using Teradek or similar. Advantage of Ubiquity is very low latency. Limitations are Line of Sight and distance.
