Thank you for looking into this !
Assume the following situation please: Discussion Panel - 6 participants. 3 Cameras ( 3 inputs ) 6 Titles ( Name / Description )
Any camera can film any of the 6 panelists.
What I want is to be able to overlay at any time any of my 6 tiles on any camera currently on PGM.
Creating 3 x 6 = 18 inputs for each cam and title combo using multiviews or virtual views is not practical. I know I can use overlays but there's only 4 available afaik.
So I picture something like this:
PGM Cam 2 Panelist 3 >>> add Tile 3 > Title out
cut to
PGM Cam 3 Panelist 3 >>> add Title 3 > Title out Pan to Panelist 6 >>> add Tile 6 > Title out
Hope I was clear, if not I am happy to clarify.
Thank you for your suggestions !

@ Tippy Toe
I am not sure I understand the issue. This can easily be done with a single Overlay channel. In fact, the scenario you present can be done with vMix Basic HD (3 camera Inputs and 1 Title Input) and use title presets or Data Sources as doggy suggests. Unless, there is something I am missing about your requirements, but as near as I can tell, there is no need for each title to have its own Overlay channel since they will never all be on screen at the same time...

I will give it a try, dig into your suggestions, and see how it works. Very well could be that I don't know how to use all the options and features vMix has to offer. Will get back with the results. I am using vMix HD
Thanks !

Why the helpfiles and many video tutorials are there for ;-) one would not want 350 different name titles if one can just change the text content of 1 title , hide title , change name , show title again (or even changing without hiding ) at later stage when can automate a lot by means of shortcut or scripts say one instruction covers hide title, change cam to specific speaker, change name to that of the speaker , show title again and so on (basically what you do manually packed in one shortcut) and so on per speaker so thats only 6 buttons to choose from to cover the situation ultimatly

Thank you ! I think I figured it out. So I got my 3 cameras setup and 6 titles (as 6 inputs). I was able to bind those 6 titles to 6 keys. SHORTCUTS Key: e.g. 1 to 6 Function: Overlay 4 ( any overlay 1-4 works, fades in 0.3, stays for 5sec ) Input: N (whichever my titles happen to land on) Good point doggy, thank you, I can use title presets. Titles Shortcuts v02.jpg (242kb) downloaded 4 time(s).I figure out that I can assign 2 keys to go through the presets on a title ( previous, next ) This way I can save myself some inputs and room on the panel, by using one input, cycle through the tile presets in preview, and when I got the right one, push it to PGM. Hurray. It would be cool if I could assign a shortcut to a specific title preset on an input. Am I pushing it ? Thank you all !

OMG @doggy Thank you for the patience to point me in the right direction. I even figured out what the Preset Index Value does ! To illustrate what happened: *any key shortcut works, elgato stream deck is just my xmas toy of choice. DUPLICATE THIS with different index and a different key shortcut and you are set ! Titles Shortcuts 02 v01.jpg (186kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

Your welcome
Still wondering why you are using 6 different title backgrounds instead of just one (based on the image)
