Using RaspberryPi to automate live broadcast elements!!!!

I've recently started using NodeJS on a raspberrypi to check a number of feeds, and then update text elements in title overlays. It even triggers the overlays on and off again. Right now I'm working on an audio trigger library such that the rPi will trigger a sound associated with the overlay it's triggering, and play it into the VMix's audio capture device. From my playing around, it seems like the automation options could be endless. My next project is going to be using rPi and a webcam to locate faces, and then use vMix's API to drive a PTZ to the point of interest. Something like... Step 1: define cam 1 as static wide shot Step 2: device cam 2 as PTZ with tigther shot Step 3: Poll webcam for location of Face Step 4: If face moving towards edge of frame, cut to cam 1 Step 5: reposition cam 2 to follow face's new locaiton. Step 6: cut to cam 2 . My question for this sub would be... are you using rPi (or something similar) to help you with your vMix production? How? tweakbox appvalley https://vlc.onl/
